Privacy
This policy is short because the site collects very little. Everything below was checked against the actual code rather than adapted from a template.
This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What we collect
- Anonymous page-view analytics through Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites. We see aggregate page views and referrers, not people.
- Performance measurements through Vercel Speed Insights — load times, not identities.
- Your email address, only if you subscribe to the newsletter.
- Whatever you type into the contact form, only if you submit it.
What we do not collect
- No cookies, localStorage, or any browser storage.
- No advertising or social-media trackers.
- No account system — there is nothing to log into.
- Nothing from the calculators. The charging calculator and charger finder run entirely in your browser; your electricity rate, mileage, and panel size are never transmitted to us and never stored.
Who else is involved
Three third parties, and only three:
- Vercel hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics described above.
- Resend delivers newsletter and contact-form email. If you subscribe, your address is stored with Resend for that purpose.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces. This means your browser requests font files from Google when a page loads, and Google receives your IP address as part of any web request. It is the only third-party request our pages make.
Affiliate links are a separate matter: when you click one, you leave this site and the destination retailer's own privacy policy applies. Those retailers may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. We receive only aggregate commission reporting — we cannot see who you are or what you bought.
Your email, specifically
If you subscribe, we use your address to send the newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you rather than merely flagging you.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or unsubscribe at any time. Email contact@fathomtruckmods.com and we will act on it. If you are covered by GDPR or CCPA, those rights are yours by law; we extend the same handling to everyone regardless of location because maintaining two standards would be more work than doing it properly once.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
