If the Fathom ships with a NACS port as reported, this forty-five-dollar adapter is the single most useful accessory a buyer can own. It opens every J1772 charger in the country to the truck.

Almost every public Level 2 charger installed in the United States before 2025 has a J1772 plug, and a native-NACS truck cannot use any of them without this. It is the cheapest meaningful upgrade to a Fathom's usable charging network that exists, and unlike much of this category it carries a real UL 2252 certification with a published certificate number — which for a part carrying 80 amps is not a detail to skip over.
